2018 Midterm Election Data Visualization
During the 2018 midterm elections, we were asked to create a data visualization about a race of our own choosing. I was fascinated by the Texas senate race between Beto O’Rourke and Ted Cruz and thought it would be interesting to look at the results as well as Ted Cruz’s approval ratings while holding an elected office.

United Nations: Displaced
We were asked to choose one of the UN sustainability goals and find a way to better educate the public on that particular goal or issue. We chose to research climate refugees and developed a graphic postcard puzzle that we plan to send to people in the United Nations to raise awareness about the current policies in place. Our work on climate refugees is far from over and we continue to push our ideas further.

Advice to President Trump from Kid President
The Ask: Take existing video and audio clips and edit them together to create a remix video.
The Solution: I decided to use Kid President's "20 Things We Should Say More Often" and changed it to advice for President Trump. Many of the video clips I found have to do with current events and controversies that the President has recently had to deal with.

Designed and illustrated short poems by Topacio Beerhalter about a challenging time she went through. While designing the poems, I was very much inspired by Shell Silverstein's "The Giving Tree" and Rupi Kaur's "Milk and honey".
